The electronic keyboard is an incredibly versatile instrument that often supports bands with a huge variety of different sounds and styles. You play using chords on the left hand to control backing tracks.
Singing & Voice Coaching Lessons
Develop your vocal range through a number of exercises designed to improve the upper and lower notes of your voice. I can support your individual singing goals to be able to sing for pleasure or to perform. This can be combined with learning keyboard or piano.
Piano Lessons
Piano is different to the keyboard as you have two hands that act as different parts and pedals. You will learn how to co-ordinate these two hands and how to read the music to play well with both hands. You can learn the piano for pleasure or towards and exam - your choice!
Piano, keyboard, singing and music theory lessons are held for pleasure or towards an exam with a flexible approach to the type of music learnt. Want to learn Ed Sheeran? Jazz? Classical? I can help with anything you are interested in and have a wide variety of musical interests.
Environmental impact - because I operate my teaching rounds to keep travel as efficient as possible, my music tuition is also very environmentally friendly.
If all students I currently teach travelled to a 'bricks and mortar' music school then an estimated extra 5 tonnes of CO2 would be released each year into the environment (around 12,000 extra miles). I also drive a fuel efficient car to help further lower my carbon footprint.
My online lessons via Skype, FaceTime, Facebook Messenger and WhatsApp are even more environmentally friendly as they involve no travel at all. They are taught from an architect designed, purpose built teaching space/studio designed to be able to provide high quality online tuition. The studio was built in 2020 as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic. It is now a key part of the tuition that I offer, either as regular online tuition or as a contingency for illness or other reasons. The studio has access to multiple devices for ease of teaching and sharing resources, tripods, two keyboards and a piano.
The mobile piano, keyboard, singing and music theory lessons are held at your home in Blackpool, Poulton, Thornton, Cleveleys, Staining, Great Eccleston, Elswick, Kirkham, Wesham, Newton, Clifton, Wrea Green, Warton, Freckleton, Weeton, Singleton, Lytham, St Annes and the surrounding areas. Online Skype, Messenger, WhatsApp or FaceTime lessons are available to anyone nationwide!
